"Very hospitable staff, especially Robert on the front desk. Very easy to find, very good parking and the hotels overall look is quite a nice one. My sea view room was like being in a bedroom of your very own and it was nice warm and cosy with the sound of the sea at the window. Breakfast was extremely nice, you alway expect a nice breakfast but this one exceeded my expectations. "I stayed 2nights with my daughter ,at the best western Claydon hotel,, spotlessly clean, all staff where very nice and welcoming , restaurant was nice & welcoming ,and the food here is excellent .you have a good option choice of 1coarse, 2 course or 3 course meals . The area is very good, nice quiet village, not far from Ipswich and Stowmarket ,loved our stay at this hotel and would definitely recommend,"

"Lovely warm, cosy hotel. Comfy beds. Cosy bar area with snooker table. Breakfast was fantastic. Excellent location - short walk to train station and to town centre. Would definitely stay here again."

Nice hotel, good stay

"I had an overnight stay while I was in the area for business. The hotel is very nice. My room was a good size for one, and had everything I needed. The furniture is a little dated and shabby compared to the public areas of the hotel, but nothing to complain about. The pool is a good size. The gym is quite small and I imagine quite uncomfortable if too many people were using it at the same time. I did not have breakfast, but dinner in the bar was very nice."
