"Hotspring was very nice. I didnt stay due to the skiing aspect. But they are well equipped for it. Great quality of food for their breakfast and supper buffets. The staff were very kind even though i dont speak a lot of japanese. "

"There is supposed to be no staff at all at this hotel, apart from housekeeping to clean the rooms after you check-out :) Check-in time starts from 3pm (won't work before that), with a QR code you will get after completing their pre-check-in system, they will remind you about that after you made the booking online. They will then give you the room number and password to open your lock of your room. No key basically There is a cafe at the ground floor might help for breakfast or light lunch. Rooms are new & spacious, I love it"

"If you decide to stay at Sansuiso, you have made the right decision. This is a beautiful onsen, with a variety of different type of waters, pools on the edge of the river. We stayed in the Japanese room which is always spacious and comfortable. Do yourself a favour and do the half board (or dinner) it will be one of the best meals you may have ever eaten. The staff is so friendly and helpful. "

"The room was on the top floor overlooking the lake but the trees blocked most of the view. The size of the room was good and the bed was comfortable. It would have been good to have smaller pillows available in the room. I ended up rolling up a towel to make a smaller pillow. Meals were included in the stay and there was plenty of variety. Only real bummer is that I think I left my Prescription Progressive Glasses in the room and can't get anyone to pick up the phones & check!"

"Exceeded expectations. I wish I got the name of the kind woman who helped us check in and talked with us during our stay. We appreciated her help. Loved the Onsen, loved that we could cook our own dinner, the hikes, went for a run. This is one of our favourite places and we would highly recommend.
