Overall, I was pleased with the hotel - especially the free breakfast and all-day access to the tea/juice machines. However, like many older hotels in Japan, it has an "all-building" system where you can only control the speed of the air, not the actual temperature of the air. Specifically, this system's "off" setting doesn't actually stop the flow of air to your room..."off" is more like "extra low," which for the upper floors at least was still much more heat than necessary with warmer spring temperatures. Thankfully, the windows some, but if you have trouble sleeping in too-warm rooms, I'd maybe try requesting a lower-level room.
