"Excellent hotel matched by value for money. It is fairly new, well managed and cared for. Located in a central place in Santo Tirso itself. First impressions make you think the bed will be squeaky and it can be a little but the mattress is extremely comfortable. A great night sleep. The rooms are a good size, well looked after with a great shower. There is also a useful mini fridge in the room. Staff are always polite and helpful. I don’t usually choose the breakfast option as I prefer to go to...

"The property sits on the top of a hill overviewing a small village. The access is pretty difficult. The house is large and they did a lot outside of the house (garden / swimming pool) but the inside needs some refurbishment works; cleanliness was so so ... Due to the pandemic, I would have appreciated the owner to provide us with a new and clean sponge for example. The kitchen is not very well equipped either (no kettle, ...). Besides internet was not working which is a real hindrance nowadays...

"We stayed here for 3 nights and would highly recommend. The house itself is situated on a hillside giving fantastic views over the Portuguese countryside. We didn't get to use the pool due to the inclement weather for the time of year but that too had spectacular views. It's only a short drive into Porto centre and we also visited Guimaraes and Espinho so the villa is extremely well placed."
