"We had a very good stay. Parking was a bit of a challenge but we made it work. Very close to restaurants and the river. Could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues due to a steep staircase. Apt was clean and quiet."

"Francisco is very communicative and check in was simple. He had all the documentation ready and the apartment was in excellent condition. He had a list of sites to see and was able to coordinate tours and even breakfast. The unit itself is within walking distance of almost everything I wanted to see. I'd stay here again were I going back to Porto in the near future."

"Two families, 12 total, and plenty of space. Property is in a great location, everything within walking distance or a quick Uber away. For those that don’t normally travel with cash, you’ll need to pay the hotel tax upon arrival, now 4/night, age 13. "

"The Yellow House was clean and comfortable. Paulo’s mother was lovely, greeting us and pouring us port to celebrate our arrival. She kindly showed us the basics of our place, and even walked us down the street to show us where to go and eat. Fado Portuguese was so close, great food, wine and live Fado. Be healthy and reasonably active…lots of hills to climb here, but so much to see."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The view was fantastic. The place was clean and as advertised. We loved the place. The check in was great. We got great recommendations from the host. We enjoyed that we could get the same sunset experience as the people in park, but on our own private balcony. Easy access to the boardwalk below and to the bridge to cross the river. The place was close to sound proof, so I slept okay."

"José’s house is on the edge of everything you want to see in Porto, so we walked everywhere. The house was well organized although you shouldn’t expect a North American look. "There were 6 of us staying in the VRBO. For the bed space and bathroom set up, it was comfortable. We visited in rainy, chilly January. The building is old so we often found it was colder inside the house than it was outside. We were able to heat up the space using the provided space heaters but ultimately requested extra blankets. "The apartment was lovely, perfect for 1-2 persons, with a great view from the balcony. The front desk staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Leonor. The location was fantastic, very close to the Bolhão market, the metro, dining, shopping and groceries. It was easy to walk to the historic district and the river. Next time I am in Porto, I will definitely stay here again!"
