"Well, very cool interior and lovely views all around. The river view is probably the best side. The skill and caring of the staff is unmatched, from the cleaning lady to the bellmen... everyone. However I did expect to find... an exhaust fan in the bathroom... an ice bucket and ice machine on the floor... a bar of soap for the shower (you only get a small one for hand-washing and liquid bath gel)... more than one socket available to plug into (and that one had a 3-way split with only one...

"Great location, with Avenida Metro station across the street, and maybe 10 minute walk along pleasant avenue to downtown, Baixa district. Our first time in Lisbon, and great choice for first exploration. Staff couldn't be more helpful and pleasant, and nice quiet location. I felt a little guilty with my dowdy fleece and jeans and sneakers -- a lot of guests seem to make an effort to look a little more dressy. If that matters to anyone else. No one said a thing to us, I just felt...
