"Great apartment with everything you need. Leontina, the owner, is very friendly. The terrace has fabulous views and great for eating breakfast or a glass of wine. Ponta da Sol is a short drive and a nice little town with cafes and restaurants. The location is a great base for exploring the island. The drive up the hill is steep and twisty (but not narrow) but if you are intending to drive in Madeira that is something you have to accept. It is worth it!"

"Part II of my Review The small community of Loreto where the Casa is located, has one main street with several bars, an appliance shop, a market, and a grocery store. The grocery is well stocked (and there is also a chain of large modern groceries scattered around the island). We enjoyed Sunday service at the Catholic Church in town with its outside pews. We also especially enjoyed discovering the network of verada that connected homes and gardens in the terrraced hillsides. Suddenly, at the end...

"C'est une belle maison, agréable, fonctionnelle, et très spacieuse. Nous avons passé 3 belles semaines en famille. Les hôtes sont très prévenants, toujours prêts à aider. La localisation est idéale: on est à proximité de la station balnéaire de Ponta Do Sol, à 30 min de Funchal en voiture et des premières belles randonnées. Bref, nous recommandons !"

"Es war ein schöner Aufenthalt in diesem Häuschen, schöner Blick vom Hügel hinab. Auch im Sommer hatten wir angenehme Temperaturen. Das haus selbst ist nett eingerichtet. Die Anfahrt ist etwas herausfordernd da es doch weit oben auf einem steilen Hügel steht, aber ist das erst mal geschafft erwartet einen ein nettes Häuschen."

"We had a brilliant week staying in this beautiful house. House was lovely and well eqipped, lovely views. We had a good small hire car, which you will need to access this house. The road to the property is very steep and narrow. This may could be a challenge for the faint hearted, however house owner will send you a detailed video near the time of your stay. Excellent communication with Carlis the owner, and we would stay there again."

"The property is a 15 minute bus ride from the centre of Funchal, in the Santo Antonio area. We really liked this as it felt like being in a very normal suburban area, even if this area did bring the world Ronaldo! If you are looking to incorporate a visit to his childhood club or the small pitch where his house once stood, then you could barely be better situated. "The complex had everything we needed. Spacious and clean apartment with an amazing view over Funchal and the sea, with a nice size balcony and outdoors seating. The downside was the road in-between the accommodation and the facilities.
