"The staff was super friendly and helpful. They helped us make reservations for diner and gave great tips for seeing the area. The room was beautiful and very conveniently located for us. Breakfast was also a lovely event each morning. I would highly recommend Corte San Pietro. "

"Great location with very friendly and helpful staff. Wonderful breakfast. Lovely rooftop bar. You cannot drive directly to the hotel. Parking is a short distance away and you must walk to the hotel on cobblestone streets with your luggage, but this is not too difficult and true of many places in central Matera. "

"This hotel was so cool! The view is stunning! We definitely appreciated the free parking outside of the downtown (perfect directions provided by the hotel) and the shuttle to/from the hotel. The room was spacious and had a loft. We were 4 people and had lots of space. The lighting used was perfect for the cave setting and the light up furniture was a hit with my kids. We also appreciated having AC as it was very hot in June. The surrounding area was easily walkable (but be warned, there are a lot of stairs in matera!) and we got to the various sites easily. Breakfast was included and was great. Would definitely recommend this hotel! "
