"Though one would think of this as a motel type property, this property was much better. The rooms were very clean and well equipped. The breakfast was good and replenished often. The staff were attentive and kind. Will recommend for anyone looking for a well located hotel."

"Places like the Solvang Village center is very close and walkable from this hotel and location and ease of access wise we felt that this hotel was very good. We went here close to Christmas Day and due to the proximity of the hotel to Solvang’s main attractions, we were able to walk around and enjoy the Christmas lights and spend a lot of time here. In terms of the hotel itself, the rooms felt very old (room was clean though) with old furniture, old chairs in the patio etc. One thing that we liked was the bath tub. The bath tub was pretty cool with a small jacuzzi kind of setup in the bathtub and it was very relaxing after a long day of walks around town. In limited, quantity muffins, pastries were available as complimentary breakfast. Parking was good and there was ample space for parking."

"Room was small but very comfortable. Had everything you needed and was very nice (TV, mini fridge, microwave). It was convenient to walk everywhere and the breakfast at Olsen’s bakery was delicious! Would definitely stay here again if we stop by the area."
