"I love this place"

"I was looking for a place in the mountains with access to water to spend a five day silent retreat. This place was absolutely perfect. Everywhere you walk there are streams of water coming down from the mountains. The water is so clear you can drink it straight from the stream. I slept on the front porch most nights because you could hear the water running all night and the weather was perfect night and day. The hosts, Bill & Rosalee, were fantastic,very accommodating. "My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. "

"Messed up my reservation, didn't let me know. Lost a night for which I wasn't refunded although they offered to, and amenities were not at all as described in Expedia. There's no TV signal, TVs not pre-connected to wifi, no info on the password, gave me pass 3 options none worked. Pretty pics that don't live up to the actual experience. I'm never coming back."

"Lovely place and a great value. The staff was very kind, and the breakfast was tasty. Nice hot shower and nearby to a great restaurant. Only downside was the wifi didn't reach to our cabina-- only in the cafeteria area. "
