"Beautiful property located in a great area walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We booked the Premier Suite which was lovely and spacious with a beautiful balcony overlooking Funchal. The staff were wonderful and the breakfast each morning was delicious. The grounds of the hotel are also lovely. Would definitely stay here again."

Quality towels are provided, which in my experience, is not always the case in holiday rentals. The kitchen is well equipped for self catering with quality appliances, though we tend to eat out. I could not contact the hotel via email or the Expedia app (quintabelasaotiago.com is not the domain name for the hotel email) prior to arrival. some of the front desk staff (Nadia) are excellent as is Sa in the restaurant but others are surly and disinterested. We asked to borrow an iron and were told at the front desk that we would have to pay - then it never turned up since the only way to get clothes ironed is to use the laundry service.
