"Staff is impersonal, particularly at reception where they need to be super helpful. My husband come down with flu and asked at reception if they had any medicine and the answer was “ no “ and end of, not an alternative offered or even indicating the nearest pharmacy. Rooms were okay, clean but worn out and the daily room keeping rushed as I would find dirt on the floor from the day before. Food was well cooked and tasty but not much variety offered as the days went by. "

"This was a great hotel for us. Very good location (less than a minute from the beach but at a fraction of the cost of one of the resorts) and in the heart of Santa Maria. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The best thing about the hotel though was the staff. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. In the evenings when the restaurant and bar become a live entertainment venue they are engaging and entertaining with all of their guests, be they younger or older. They are a real credit...
