Looks great in pictures but reality is much different. Prize to the photographer that makes it look like a nice hotel. The pool is disappointing and the rooms are horrible.

OMG! This hotel was beyond my expectations. The grounds are beautiful, peaceful and relaxing. The rooms are perfect, I mean sleeping in an old wine barrel with a view of the vineyard - nothing tops that! The restaurant has a sumptuous breakfast and tasty lunch and dinner menu. Above all, their service is outstanding! I was able to arrange wine tours and transportation well before we arrived, all via WhatsApp. Their recommendations were perfect and we enjoyed every visit! I must make mention of our assigned driver, Irwin who was so pleasant and such a fantastic host who took us safely around to our planned destinations. We will definitely come again!

The experience of spending the night in a giant wine barrel was memorable. The staff was super accommodating. The property is very well maintained, clean and safe. The value of the accommodations for the price was excellent. The location is convenient to tour the surrounding vineyards. I highly recommend this property.

Unique Accommodation
A very unique room, all is then are individual repurposed wine barrels! Fully furnished and have nice bathrooms built underneath. For those with mobility issues, be sure to ask for the newer rooms with bathrooms on the same level. All barrels have a view of the vineyard. There's a nice pool and lounge area. The restaurant is great and had a nice wine selections, including their own own cava. They offer the use of a hot tub and massage, for US$45 each. We didn't.

I really wanted to give this place a great review but sadly there were a few things that let this place down. The staff were great, helpful and friendly. The on-site restaurant was good, with a wide selection of dishes and wine. The breakfast was fresh with plenty of choice. However, 2 days we had no hot water. I was surprised to see the 2 bottles of water left in our room on arrival were charged to the room, when usually these are included. I would also like to note for potential future guests, that the hot tub requires an additional charge - $45. It would be helpful if this was highlighted when booking.

Great stay.
It was a great experience to sleep in a wine barrel. We stayed in a premium room with a good bathroom downstairs and small upstairs bedroom. The bedroom was small - but it is a barrel so wasn’t expecting it to be bigger! Shame there was not a bit more storage space for clothes etc. The bed was also a little uncomfortable and the room was in need of a bit of repair. The grounds and pool were lovely and the breakfast great.

A very serious malfunction in the operation of the hotel gate caused it to fall on top of my car causing serious damage. The owner of the hotel apologized accordingly and promised to pay for the repair of my car. A week later I contacted them so that we could repair the car but they spent almost 1 month deferring the repair. After much insistence, his excuses ran out and they finally warned us that they would not provide a solution to the repair.

Unique boutique hotel in wine country
Pleasantly surprised by this very unique experience! The staff and service is absolutely wonderful! From the moment we arrived the staff inquired and made reservations for wine tasting, lunch and dinner even though it was during the holidays (I state that because other hotels were short staffed and inattentive). The property is very unique and the vineyards and spa area provide a very nice atmosphere. The pool area needs a little love but overall the hotel was clean and all staff was extremely attentive.

Great vibe around the pool area. Amazing service. Before we thought about reservations for a meal the staff was on hand to take care of everything. The rooms were unique and the property was super beautiful and serene. Bathroom doors downstairs could be useful, but was not a dealbreaker. Personalized service with boutique feel. Would return!

Fantastic service at this well maintained boutique hotel. Wine barrel rooms are spacious and innovative. Lovely pool with great food/drink and towel service. Staff speak English, are very polite and only too willing to help with restaurant and tour reservations.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Room a little small but then again it’s a wine barrel. Just enjoy it. Room too dark so lighting needs improvement. Bathroom very spacious but staircase to the bath is curvy and a little tricky. Can’t walk to city center but it’s only five minutes by car. Breakfast starts a little late and doesn’t last long, 9-1030. Heating very good. WiFi ok. Forget the word ‘boutique’. This is a nice cozy, interesting concept hotel.

Wonderful boutique hotel in Santa Cruz!
This 19 room hotel was in a quite area of Santa Cruz. The staff were extremely helpful and constantly asking us to schedule tours and reservations. It was relatively close to all the wineries. I highly recommend this small oasis.

Perfect place to in Colchagua for Wine/Relaxation
We booked this hotel because of the cool looking rooms - Giant Wine Barrels! The hotel turned out to be so much more! Friendly staff - some with good English, clean accommodations, private, wooded surroundings with secret hammock garden in the back. There is a lovely pool for relaxing and a spa for massage. Loved this place!

Unique Spot
Great place to relax. Room was nice and clean. Bathroom and shower level was very spacious. Small area in back to take a stroll thru their property. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Short drive into Santa Cruz(5 minutes) and many vineyards (5-10 minutes).
