"Literally across the street from the train station! And maybe 10 minutes from the Duomo and downtown area. A ton of dining options plus a grocery store around the corner. The host was very helpful and provided local places to eat. We also loved that there is a washing machine! The only negative for us is how small the shower is. As two people who are 5'11 and 6'4, it was very hard to shower. Plus the shower leaked so we constantly had to mop up the floor afterwards. "

The check in process is thru an app and detailed instructions were sent via Whatsapp. I believe there are 78 steps to climb so be aware of that. It wasn't terrible. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and two queen beds. Should be very comfortable for 2 couples for a family. The kitchen is in the loft and fully stocked. The only confusing thing for me was the airconditioner/thermostat. We didn't really need it...

You can walk to the city centre to see the sites very easily. From the city centre we also got the train to Pisa for a day trip.
