"We loved our stay at the Santa Croce Hotel! It was an easy walk from the train station, but felt removed from all the hustle and bustle. Every single member of the staff that we encountered from the front desk to the bartender and staff at breakfast were so friendly and helpful. Our room was gorgeous and had great amenities and was comfortable. The breakfast buffet was delicious. If we are ever lucky enough to return to Venice, we will absolutely stay here again."

"This hotel was perfect for our week in Venice. Beds were comfy, the shower was wonderful; it is very quiet and clean; the staff is super helpful and friendly. They have a nice little bar for an aperitivo after a day of touring, and there a couple of small but nice restaurants not far down the way in either direction. Other restaurants are not too far away. Breakfast buffet is standard, but with lots of choices. The #1and 2 vaporetti are a 10 minute walk away with a couple (maybe 3?) bridges....

"We had a very short stay while in Venice but this place was perfect for that! It’s a 7 minute walk from the train station and about a 12 minute walk to the bus station. Everything was within walkable distance including the fat thugs such as Dodge’s place (about a 22min) walk but it definitely didn’t feel that far due to there being so many little shops to check out on your way. Older hotel but was great staying in something that had character! Definitely recommend if you are looking for a well...

There is one bridge to cross that has a ramp on it for easy crossing with luggage. I didn’t use the water buses as I preferred to walk, but there is a stop right out the front of the hotel."

"Beautiful, quaint hotel with a beautiful garden area and lovely villa right on the back bay. Doorman (wish I had his name) is phenomenal! Room “upgrade” was interesting as we had small ship pieces of the old ceiling fall on us multiple times while sleeping and we terminated 5-6 mosquitoes over the 2 nights. Coffee and tea replenishment needs to be more consistent, we got decaf coffee only and no replacement of herbal tea or water."
