"I didn’t get the check in info via Hotels.com and their address was wrong. But a simple phone call and an exceptionally helpful and friendly chap sorted everything within two minutes. The cottage was wonderful. So warm and inviting. Comfy and beyond clean. I’m definitely coming here again. "

"The property is basically a garden shed with basic amenities. There were stains on the floor and walls, only one knife one spoke one fork and one teaspoon and the cups, plates hadn’t been washed and were sticky, plus there were no bowls just plates! On the first night I complained about the smell in the flat which didn’t really get sorted and the next morning we had our first showers in the room. Lovely touches including automatic night lights, Christmas decorated tree outside (definitely going to steal this idea), very generous welcome pack. Fabulous shower and comfy bed. "I didn't receive any instructions for self check in until I called the letting agent. The property is dark and dingy. It smelled damp and was cluttered with unnecessary furniture (large sofa foot stool, 4 armchairs, 4chairs, fridge freezer & non working fridge, for a double room). We spent our day in Cambridge but ate/drank at the bars and restaurants that were a 2 minute walk away from the hotel. The value for money was extremely good.
