"It was quite different than the advertised pictures in the website. We could not bath in the pool as it was not precisely clean. We had to find a paid parking in a different pousada as it was not possible to find a space outside. The breakfast was not very good as we had to wait to find a space to sit down because all the tables were occupied, they did not serve eggs. Electricity did not work all morning so we had a cold water shower. "

"The onwer will do the impossible to make you feel at home. It's a home guest house uphill in the middle of Atlantic Florest. Beautiful garden, great atmosphere ,great value fir the price. It's great to know the beaches near Angra dos Reis town. The breakfast is great. The music selection is the best ever. It's like a proper lounge. The wifi works well. No problem at all. "Paraty is a place to visit! Just skip this property. It’s not a hostel more like a local residence/ party spot. There was 3 families living there, that made it all rather unusual. The music never stops it’s on all day and typically goes off around 3-4 am. It’s difficult to get a good nights sleep. The bar/restaurant had nothing to drink other than 2 beers and only had potato chips for snacks. Not what I typically expect from a hostel. "Acomodação é bem nova, seu tamanho para casal com filhos não é legal. Uma cama de casal mais uma de solteiro deixa o quarto bem apertado fora que não tem ar condicionado o que torna o quarto absolutamente quente, Ventilador de teto não da conta do calor. Pra receber 5 estrelas faltou uma tela na janela ajudaria pois tem muito mais muito pernilongo, ar condicionado também seria questão de imediato."

"The house was beautiful. Initially it was not easy to find and we had to ask neighbors where the house was located. When we got to the house, the house manager informed us of the daily housekeeping fees which were not listed in our contract which were significantly more money out of pocket. They blamed VRBO for not updating the house description. The home did not have complimentary soaps or shampoo as stated. The patio area and stairs were not cleaned. "The Pousada was excellent on all accounts, esp. staff and breakfast and on the edge of old town was perfect location a top priority for older guests. Loved it."

"The public area is more wonderful and very well designed, the rooms were plain, not great. But the biggest problem is the service, the front desk lady was the worst. She said we had to pick a boat trip that day for the next day, and tried charge us over twice the price! She said she'd send the link, when she didn't we just walked over to the port after she gave us the wrong directions. We selected a boat and when we got on she kept texting me in capitals on WhatsApp what boat we were on. When I asked why she said she was worried about us. No doubt it was for commission. I never told her. Then the next day when we left the hotel she sent us a picture of a shattered TV and sai we broke it. When I pointed out that the layout of the room was not the same of as as ours and that wasn't even our room, instead of apologizing she just didn't reply. Judging by this I really wonder about her stability if they fire her, I would reconsider this hotel despite the plain rooms. Terrible experience."
