"Love this hotel and the staff. We come back every year to ski Schweitzer Mt and we always stay here. Great breakfast, beds, hot tub/pool and staff are always wonderful. With Sweet Lou's restaraunt in the parking lot this place is a slam dunk!"

"The staff were very friendly and helpful which is so nice when traveling with young kids. The hotel was clean but there was some leaking in the dining area. The pool was so much fun and needed with the kids but the hot tub was very hot, so we were in and out of pool to cool off. I would recommend this hotel to others and would stay again! "

"Really beautiful house- read the story of how the family created and built the Retreat- so much care and thought into every detail. Husband and I were passing through between ski resorts, so we only stayed for one night, and because it's winter, we could not really explore the grounds. I am sure it's magical in the warmer months. (gorgeous kitchen, although no breakfast as it's low season)"
