"We came to town for the birth of our first grandchild. This property was perfectly located for trips to/from the hospital. The property is adorable and comfortable. It felt like staying at a friend's home. Everything we needed was available, rooms and beds were comfy, and the kitchen had all materials we needed. Highly recommend!"

"It was a cold weekend out but stayed nice and warm. Large “suite “ size but not the price of one at hotel. Staff friendly and although we didn’t use rec center, it’s a bonus. Will stay again! In summer we bring our rv and it’s a great place to stay. "

"Everything was good, for the most part. Had some minor issues with the financial part, but it eventually got resolved. Owner did everything possible to make it all correct. House was nice and comfortable. Some issues with the TV, but it eventually got resolved. We were only allowed the toilet paper that was there….so we had to purchase our own to make it through the days we stayed there. That was kind of a bummer. Also, no hand soap for the kitchen, but it eventually got resolved and...

"Beautiful location for a get away. Clean, nice cabin. Good communication from host. Very close to Heise Hot Springs! WiFi and cell service were spotty. "

"The place is a step back in time, with new flooring, We arrived after dark in a rainstorm and were glad to have shelter. We are not pet people, but I did not expect that much dog hair all over the house. We problem solved and used the pet friendly washer to get the dog hair out of our clothing, and the Robot floor cleaner to sweep the floors. The owners have been notified. I would have loved to give the place a perfect score. The owners were easy to contact and responded quickly to...

"We loved the secluded house and it's old-world charm. The hot tubs and sauna are a huge bonus.A couple of corrections or additions to the listing:- The upstairs bed is a double, not a queen. But very comfortable with heating pads.- The owners live in a house on the same property. They are great to work with and very hospitable.- January is very cold, naturally. The fireplace and space heaters couldn't keep up, so we had to run the gas oven to help heat the house.We will definitely come again!"

"Property was great. When we arrived the room had not been cleaned. We had to dry the sheets and make the beds. We were almost out of toilet paper. There was no paper towels. There were dirty dishes on the counter. It took 3 phone calls to finally get some where there to finish what we had not done and to bring supplies. Very unhappy with the experience. Really bad way to start our vacation."

"Clean, comfortable, conveniently located! This worked just right for us to bring Christmas to our young adult daughter who couldn't travel home to be with us for the holiday. Love the proximity to Downtown, and since she lives on the Bench, this really was perfect for our needs. "
