"Our family liked this little stone cottage though we didn’t realize how cramped we would feel. It’s probably a better fit for a couple. The setting on the lake is nice and would probably be fun in the summer. For a rainy fall weekend, there was little to do (no games, puzzles, internet, tv wouldn’t work w/o service, no bikes or fire pit as advertised). We made the best of it but found ourselves bored in the remote location. "

"I grew up coming up to this lake. My family owned a small log cabin across the cove. It is heart warming to know that there are still a handfull of cozy, knotty-pine paneled cabins here like the one I grew up in. This place was completely charming — big stone fireplace, beamed ceilings with skylights, large deck overlooking the water, lots of windows for natural light. "The property has a perfect location within walking distance to the nearby lake. A perfect place for some birding! There is minimal road noise. A grocery store is just down the road. The cabin has good amenities and plenty of hot water. "
