"I had a really nice stay here. The room was clean and secure, the wifi, air conditioning, shower, all worked great. The staff was super- friendly and helpful. They were patient with my awful Spanish and were able to switch to English when needed. Even the restaurant had good food. Not a luxery resort, but perfectably servicable at a good price. Puntarenas isn't the "nicest" town per se but it is interesting and authentic and this hotel is very good."

"Although we only stayed one night we had a great stay! We arrived early but were able to spend the day at the pool before our room was ready. We were in the premium zone and the restaurant exclusive to us was excellent! View of the beach, good food and superb service. Our room was clean and spacious and very quiet. Was a terrific place to stay before we took the ferry the next day."

"This little family hotel is awesome! They are so friendly, calming, attentive and honest. While the place is simple and basic the atmosphere is great and it is so clean and quiet. The wife is a good cook. She made us dinner and breakfast. Al tasty and since it was a family affair, ie, eating with others, it was a nice way to enter the country. Looking forward to one last night there on our way out of the country. "

"What a great place to stay for the night before our flight. The beds are firm, which I like, and the pillows are probably the most comfortable pillows of all my travels. The fish tacos were excellent and the gallo pinto in the typico breakfast was the best I’ve had on 2 trips to Costa Rica. The place was very clean. Hot water in the showers was excellent and the water pressure is the highest pressure I’ve seen anywhere including my own home in the States. The one negative is the street noise. It was extremely loud in our standard room. We were not in a room facing the street but on the back side of the building near the street. The motorcycles and big trucks did finally quiet down from about 10 or 11 pm until maybe 6 am. My tip: Pay extra to get a room not at the front of the property."

"Comfortable and beautifully presented accommodation. It was great to have a functioning kitchen, and the provision of quality bathroom supplies was much appreciated. The pool was good, but currently without any shade, although there is a covered area by the main building. Plenty of parking. Overall, I would highly recommend staying here"
