"The place was just fantastic, it had everything yet a minimalistic feel to it. The trek up the hill is a bit high but you get used to it. Now let's get to what I thought was THE MOST fantastic view of the gulf! Your could sit there for hours in awe of this view. "I'm sorry to say but be careful booking here. They did not honor our Expedia reservation and turned us away. We Just flew in and drove from San Jose then had to find another place. Everyone was booked and drove 30 min out of town to find another place. Then Expedia tried to contact them to obtain the refund and they are not communicating with Expedia and now Expedia is not refunding me. "

"Pros: Kind, responsive property managers, close to beach and local food nearby. Cons: Roaches. I was beyond mortified to have had my leftovers in a to-go box in the refrigerator and upon opening to Re-heat a cockroach about 1 1/2 - 2 inches long scurried out!!! Everything we had, that we’d opened we threw out. Upon leaving the room, at about 3:45a we were packing and cleaning our dishes and saw again baby roaches rushing to hide into the walls which confirmed there are roaches in the unit....

"The property was accurate to the description and very clean. The pool area is very nice and we spent most of our time outside in the pool having fun. The home is located in a authentic area and sets behind the jungle so the views was actually more then I thought there was. I will be back for sure"

"We had a wonderful week in Costa Rica and this was the perfect home base. Conveniently located to the San Jose airport and day trips to Jaco for fun in the sun. We loved coming back to the house in the evening for pool side happy hour and grilling for dinner. Wonderful views of the Central Valley and cool night air provided a perfect setting to cast your cares away. Piet and Yvonne were wonderful hosts and I highly recommend this property."
