I've heard a few stories about this place, one being that locals sometimes toss live chickens off the bridge to put on a "show". I also read somewhere that a drunk man was bet $20 to swim across the river...and he did, but didn't quite make it.
If you are at all amazed by crocodiles, this place is crazy cool. I've been here a couple of times and still get excited by the number of crocs there are. Once in awhile you'll see a stork slowly walk up to a croc, almost as if he's doing a dare, and the croc will slowly swim towards him. You get your camera ready waiting for something to go down. The stork usually smartens up and flys off though.

"This property is located on a black sand beach that was nearly deserted and it felt like we had a private beach to ourselves. The views are amazing. Beautiful pool and patio area. The hone was very clean and well appointed. The owner gave us some great recommendations. The only downside was the wifi isnt great (you can only get the 5g in the kitchen) if you are needing it to work while away from the office. "

"So we had a terrible occurrence, Due to NO control, and natural flooding in fort lauderdale , all our fights were canceled and couldn't make the trip. We had their JACO tour agent ask if we can get credit for the night we lost if we can make it there and if we can get the difference back from the 12 people that were NOT able to attend . AND the owner SAID NO. We wish we could have seen the property but working with the owner wasnt helpful at all"

"Before everything I want to be clear that the property manager that lives on site-Adilia, is so nice and wonderful! With that being said, this property was equal parts fantastic & a nightmare. "Walk right to the beach. Super friendly and helpful staff. Free breakfast was great! They give you a beach towel when you check in, which was great because we forgot ours. Beach was amazing. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel isn’t over populated, nice cozy feel. Hot water and strong AC. Would definitely return!"

"There are not enough stars to give this property! Beautiful villas, breathtaking view, animals just out our door! We stayed 7 nights in Suite 1, toucans, macaws, kookaburras, iguanas, hummingbirds and a Pizote all viewed from our pool deck. Wonderful indoor shower that could be open to outside, also had an outside shower, private pool with lounge chairs. Very clean, grounds well maintained. Would stay here again happily, honestly it was the best part of our trip!"

"I absolutely loved this resort. We got lucky and most of our stay we were one of the few at the resort. The breakfast was amazing, I recommend the complimentary breakfast, it was HUGE and so delicious. The views were absolutely beautiful from the balcony. Staff were all super nice and friendly. I would love this place even more if they had happy hour at the restaurant on the resort. All in all 10/10 experience, I would highly recommend this place. Close to the strip, so many food options near by, night life and super markets. "
