Villa Ulivi

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (4)
"Villa Ulivi is a brand new B & B set up in a beautiful rural area of Basilica. The hosts were extremely helpful despite our language differences and went out of their way to ensure an enjoyable stay in this wonderful new build villa which is no more than 200m from the SS648 and well positioned for either Potenza to the south or Melfi to the north. B&B Il Tritone

9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (4)
"Inizio col descrivere l'Hoste: persona gentile e molto disponibile. La struttura: centrale, sulla piazza di Laviano (borghetto piccolissimo e isolato), pulito, nuovo, munito di ogni comfort. E' presente uno spazio comune dove c'è una cucina fornita di tutto il necessario per la prima colazione e poi ci sono le singole stanze, ognuna con bagno privato. Per chi dovesse pernottare in questo paese la consiglio senza dubbio."

La Voce del Fiume

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (10)
"Fantastic unique property, great views. Real mix of old and new. Very very quiet and nice to just slow a bit. Rocchina is a great host and really looked after us well, served us an appetiser and breakfast on our balcony as it was our wedding anniversary. Thank you Rocchina! This place is a little sanctuary off of the beaten track. We had a really good night sleep in the cave rooms. "

B&B La Mortella

8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (6)
"If you want a true Italian family experience then a stay at BnB La Mortella is the answer. We considered staying in Paestum to be close to the great temples but knowing that La Mortella was only 20 minutes away convinced us to try something different during our Italia tour. The BnB was a bit hard to find but once we were there it was worth seeking. Antonio and his family also work the land with citrus and olive groves dominating the landscape. They also produce olive oil for their business. Each...

Agri Resort Masusa

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (4)
"My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. There is a restaurant, small bar and pool on site as well as short walking trail, hammocks and, since they are up on a hill, beautiful views of the valley below Aquara. "

Country House Domus Otium

9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (6)
"It seemed like the owners was surprised by us really coming, although we booked a few months in advance. No warm welcome, just a small buena Sierra, no smile, no wifi code. Room was good with a great view, but all the shared facilities looked like they didn't expect and want any guests. Chairs and tables on top of each other, construction in the front including noises. We asked about using the sauna or whirlpool but itc would have been an incredible 20€/Person. Usually, if a facility...

Agriturismo Villa Vea

7.6 out of 10, Good, (4)
"The bad: Our first issue happened at check-in. We booked and paid for (months in advance) a double room (separate bed rooms) and ended up only one choice - a small single room with only one (squeaking and uncomfortable) bed. There was no air conditioning, no fan and there was rising damp in the walls. The shower curtain was disgusting with mould. The pillows smelt damp and disgusting, and the room was humid and hot and smelt like mildew. Every night we were woken up by the farm dogs barking and...

VILLETTA ITALIA

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (92)
"As a family, we were looking forward to spending some time visiting historic/cultural places of interest whilst being mindful of the temperatures in August. Salvatore’s villa provided everything we wanted. Whilst being away from the central drag it was, nevertheless, accessible and gave us beautiful views. The pool and tennis court allowed us to “cool down” and exercise. It was ideal. Additionally, Salvatore is a superb host. Always available, ready to help and consistently upkeeps to...
