"My great grandfather was born in the very small town of Aquara and, in planning our trip from the USA to Italy, we were looking for a peaceful, welcoming spot to stay while we paid a short visit to the city. The staff was terrifically accommodating and the property was beautiful. There is a restaurant, small bar and pool on site as well as short walking trail, hammocks and, since they are up on a hill, beautiful views of the valley below Aquara. "

We booked and paid for (months in advance) a double room (separate bed rooms) and ended up only one choice - a small single room with only one (squeaking and uncomfortable) bed. "This villa was perfect as a home base to the Amalfi Coast and Cilente. Very open and clean. Bathrooms are updated, grounds are beautiful with fruit trees and flowers. Wally was our daily greeter, adding to the charm. Ida was very responsive and helpful with her recommendations. Emilia, her mom was very nice and made a delicious apricot tart for us to enjoy during our stay!"
