"Thanks for hosting us at The Lilacs cabin on Mt Palomar. We truly relaxed while staying -- the setting is so peaceful, surrounded and shaded by huge cedars and oaks, and visited closely throughout the day by woodpeckers, jays, pigeons, quail, and other birds. This century old cabin glows with character, from its patchwork quilt-like additions, to its mildly skewed floor, to its eclectic decor items. The cabin reminded us of other homey houses of similar vintage -- it was immediately comfortable....

"Cozy house with a/c and several decks with mountain view. Enjoyed the jacuzzi nightly. Good walks in the neighborhood. Very comfortable. The driveway took a little getting used to, but then it was fine."

"My family, parents, and siblings all went. There was enough room for all of us. It's in the mountains so except critters in and out of the cabin. It is nice and has things there in the event you forget things. Drive to town is a drive, about 30+ minutes depending on traffic and where you are planning on driving to. The company uses part of the ground as a wedding event it is nice, and you can see why its gorgeous place. Thankfully no one else was there during our stay as we have a child that...

"Hard to get parking on the street. Neighbours filled up any empty spots. Instructions for wifi and garbage were incorrect or ambiguous. No AC and it was uncomfortable even though they provided fans. Didn’t feel particularly safe in the area. It is in a convenient spot to get to downtown and the zoo. The kitchen and rooms were nicely done but it was very tight for the 8 of us. "

"We stayed two nights in cabin #5. Nicely upgraded and very clean. Great view of countryside and part of lake Henshaw. Very peaceful Thursday, but got a bit busier as Friday afternoon weekend folks rolled in. Close to lake, Julian, outdoor activities, and good restaurants."

"We were at Weber’s Wood Cabin for 3 nights. It was quiet, cozy and very comfortable. The interior was really charming and the kitchen was well appointed with quality appliances. Best treat was a flock of wild turkeys walking through the front yard one morning."
