"Great option to stay for an early flight out of Liberia, Costa Rica."

"Pros: Excellent option if you have a flight the following morning out of Liberia. Airport is 5 minutes away. The reception closes at 6pm but they provide excellent instructions for self check in. Rooms are big, comfortable, have a refrigerator, AC, fans, good wifi and are priced very reasonable considering the distance to airport. The restaurant on premise looks good but didn’t get to try it as we had a very early flight. Good communications from host. Easy free parking, very clise to airport, clean and comfortable bed. Cons: no elevator, we had a room in fourth floor so had to go up 4-5 flights of stairs. Wasn’t a problem for us, but depending on your physical limitations and amount of luggage it could be challenging for some. If you need a first or second floor room send them a request. There is also some road traffic noise, but quiets down by 10-11pm. I used ear plugs and not a problem. "

"Easy drop off for an early flight. The hotel is nice a convenient. Very nice pool area with indoor or outdoor, poolside dining. Our experience was really good, the only downside of being in a warm climate is having air conditioning in your rooms and with hotel air conditioners they can wake you up from your sleep because of noise and also your body temperature can go from hot to cold. Otherwise bed and room was very good!"

"Hacienda is a great spot. Beautiful grounds, great restaurant, and great service. It’s showing its age a bit and could use a little updating and some maintenance. Our room was very nice and comfortable but the AC did not cool the room well. It did not detract from the overall stay though."

"Rancho Humo was perfect for us: comfortable and peaceful accommodations on the grounds of a working ranch with a nature preserve, so I experienced Costa Rica without feeling like a tourist...even if of course we did take tours, with Kenneth pointing out birds, monkeys, crocodiles, green iguanas (Ticos probably think I'm funny to be excited about iguanas), and even a very cute couple of Pacific screech owls peeping down at us from a tree right outside the front door which I would not have noticed on my own. I was born in Maryland but I never saw a Baltimore oriole before I was here! The staff were very welcoming, Ticos are lovely people."

"Beautiful place with a small intimate feeling and the best sunset happy hour one could imagine. Our hot tub was a bit too chlorined and we did have some ants that they helped remove but otherwise we were very happy!"
