"The location was great with plenty of food options available. The staff we’re extremely welcoming and attentive. The room was clean. The pub across the road was rather noisy at night but that’s to be expected. Only complaint would have been the heating in the room."

"Old vintage charm. A very old well built home. Johannes welcomed us warmly. Comfortable beds, simple yet yummy breakfast. Lots of catholic pictures and images. Easy walk to restaurants and the buses. "

"This may have easily been our favorite stay of our entire European Christmas Market trip. Felt more like home or a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Guesthouse is very appropriate. Walking distance to just about everything and when it wasn't there was great public transportation or Uber. Breakfast was amazing and they even had a honor system for cold drinks. "The property is located outside of the the city center, which made our stay more affordable and relaxed. There is a reliable and inexpensive bus / transport system with a stop within 100 meters of the apartment. This takes you directly to the center of the city, to old town and to the train station. Uber and taxis are relatively cheap to and from the city center / old town too. There is a supermarket and some restaurants within walking distance of the accommodation, which we valued. "Great hotel in central Salzburg, 10 minutes walk from station, less into town. Helpful bi lingual staff, big clean rooms, amazing breakfast on top floor with views of city. "Cosy and stylish hotel in a very convenient location next to the main station and short walk or bus ride to most sights. Enjoyed the delicious new years brunch and hanging out in the bar with board games in the evening. Staff are super friendly and helpful. The room was small but very well equipped. "

"After a long day of travelling to be able to walk out of the station and straight in to the hotel was fabulous. Room was lovely, and easy to walk into town or catch the bus. Shopping centre next door was really convenient too. Staff very friendly. The view of the city at breakfast was beautiful would definately stay again! "

Center of it all

"The hotel is one of the oldest historical buildings in Salzburg and it is in great shape. The room was large and it had a great view, with a nice bed. The chairs in the room needed to be replaced 10 years ago and the floor was scratched up, but in all it was very good. The Location is the best in Salzburg! The staff was nice and very helpful. The building was the house of a Barron, then a Sinaguage, and later a brewer for 500 years - it is historical to say the least. "
