"I really want to give this hotel the full five stars - it was such a wonderful place for us to stay while in Salzburg! Unfortunately, the hotel is right next door to a bar/pub and the sound traveling to our room from its customers made it difficult to sleep well. I recommend bringing a sound machine with you if you plan to stay here. Seriously though - the hotel itself was absolutely amazing!! The facility was great and the breakfast was soooo delicious!"

The staff was excellent, and though I didnt speak a great deal of German, and they didnt speak a great deal of english, they were very friendly, and even one very nice lady in the mornings was able to teach me some.German. "This may have easily been our favorite stay of our entire European Christmas Market trip. Felt more like home or a bed and breakfast than a hotel. Guesthouse is very appropriate. Walking distance to just about everything and when it wasn't there was great public transportation or Uber. Breakfast was amazing and they even had a honor system for cold drinks.
