"We enjoyed our stay here - although parking was a huge challenge. The unit came as advertised and was in a great location. We did a self check in, so no need to connect directly with the property manager. However she was a bit slow to respond on check in day when we needed assistance with the wifi. And the only info we could find in the unit was in Portuguese. "

"Aside from the rainy weather our stay in Sao Bernardino has been lovely. A lovely beach side cafe/bar/restaurant in walking distance meant we haven't had to drive if we were spending the day close to home. When the sun came out it was glorious but apparently we picked the wettest March on record. The house was roomy with lots of windows and the beds were very comfortable. The host responded very quickly to all inquiries and all has been smooth."

"Our stay was fantastic. The house is beautifully decorated, and the fireplace makes it very cozy. Despite the house being historic, it was easy to get temperature of the different spaces comfortable. We visited in February, so it was a little cold to spend time outside, but the garden was beautiful. Our host was very attentive and helped with anything we asked for. "

"Fantastic area right in the heart of the castle. However, tricky to get to as you need to park your car 10 minutes away and then navigate through the cobbled streets. The house is very quaint, but has damp issues so you can smell mould ( although it was winter, so maybe it is better in summer). Heating was a bit basic. Barthroom had a vague smell of sewerage- not really strong, but enough for me to question the high price of the accomodation. Needs to spend a lot more on plumbing and heating, or...

"The house is true paradise to escape from the busy summer destinations like Nazaré. We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace with sea side view, close location to the ocean and beach, the calmness of the area and the well equipped and large house. "Pros: GREAT location with beautiful views right across the street from the ocean. Staff is very friendly. Loads of amenities (though you have to pay extra). Cons: Bungalows have ZERO light in the kitchen and minimal lighting in the room. We had to use our headlamp to cook. "Good size apartment, close to the beach. Washer/dryer was handy. For such a beautiful part of Portugal there was a disappointing view out of the apartment - looking at other buildings and being overlooked by them. Certainly not the stunning ocean view shown in all their marketing material. Also disappointing not to be able to control the heating given the cold wet weather in mid March - it did feel a bit cold in the apartment at times. "

Tiny Village, Big Character

"I booked this stay last minute as I wanted to explore Obidos. I had to work during the day, so I needed to find a place with easy access to the town and with strong internet. It had that in spades. It was a really comfortable room, with an awesome view. The care of the front desk team to help me explore thoroughly- every time I entered or exited they made sure I was doing well and they checked in on if I liked the Chocolate Event that was happening nearby. If I return to Obidos, I'll absolutely be staying here again."

"I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel as it felt high end although very comfortable. The views are amazing. Breakfast was very expansive and I always felt like I could eat as much as I wanted I did make a mistake about location but I was able to use Bolt to get to the city for very cheap. "
