"Fantastic area right in the heart of the castle. However, tricky to get to as you need to park your car 10 minutes away and then navigate through the cobbled streets. The house is very quaint, but has damp issues so you can smell mould ( although it was winter, so maybe it is better in summer). Heating was a bit basic. Barthroom had a vague smell of sewerage- not really strong, but enough for me to question the high price of the accomodation. Needs to spend a lot more on plumbing and heating, or...

We really enjoyed the rooftop terrace with sea side view, close location to the ocean and beach, the calmness of the area and the well equipped and large house. "First off, the location is great to experience this portion of Portugal and at a great value to the options closer in Peniche. The listing is accurate and had no complaints about that. Just be aware, this house is completely stocked and decorated with Ikea everything. Meaning the furniture, although functional is not really that comfortable.
