"Casa Milu on the quiet Salgado Beach south of Nazare is the perfect place to spend a relaxing vacation. The lodging is a short walk downhill to an uncrowded beach--a great place to watch the sunset! For swimming the bay at Soa Martinho do Porto a few miles south seems better (although Milu did warn us that on windy days the fine sand gets in your face). We did not have a beach day even though we brought our swimming suits. We spent our time exploring the region (a rental car is almost a must...

"We enjoyed our stay here - although parking was a huge challenge. The unit came as advertised and was in a great location. We did a self check in, so no need to connect directly with the property manager. However she was a bit slow to respond on check in day when we needed assistance with the wifi. And the only info we could find in the unit was in Portuguese. "

"A nossa estadia foi boa, a casa é grande e muito perto da praia de vale furado. Esta praia é muito bonita mas tem um acesso dificil com escadas. A casa não tinha no entanto algumas coisas mencionadas no anuncio, como wifi, tábua e ferro de passar ou banheira de hidromassagem. Os colchões das camas podiam ser actualizados. No geral tivemos uma boa estadia e recomendariamos."

"Nice modern house with wonderful views. Amazing sunsets. Our manager Angelina was very professional. There was a technical issue outside of the house that was beyond her immediate control but she did everything possible to resolve the problem to our satisfaction. "The property was even better than expected, very spacious and well appointed kitchen, and the views spectacular! The short but steep walk down to the beach was excellent challenge to the fitness of the older members of the party. The heated pool was brilliant and compensated for the cooler misty air - this improved by mid afternoon and we enjoyed a couple of splendid sunsets. "
