"This property is very well maintained. They have a cute hot tub setting in a gazebo and the outside area is very nice. The continental breakfast was very well stocked with lots of options. You can really make a full breakfast. The rooms (we have stayed here twice) are very clean. The beds are quite comfortable, the AC works well, the TV is nice and there is good seating so you don't have to sit on your bed. The proximity to downtown and the river is great. I wouldn't walk but it is very close....

"This is a 1-bedroom house that's just a couple of blocks from Salida's creative district. The location cannot be beat. The unit was clean, but I thought the owners were a little obsessive about visitors *keeping* the place clean; this is the first time I've ever been asked to run a load of laundry and take out my own trash. I've also never before had a rental with a coffee machine that didn't have at least some coffee on hand. Be sure to bring your own."

"Clean and super cute place! Love the retro theme. My only problem was that an outdoor security light shined through our window. The blinds aren’t dark enough and it lit up the whole room. If this is something that bothers you, as it does me, maybe ask for a room that a light doesn’t directly hit. "

"Great Little mid-century modern motor hotel. Check in was great, hot water was not available for my tea and I can’t use the coffee maker because it makes the tea taste like coffee. Everything else was fantastic in the bed. It was comfortable. The dinner suggestion was perfect."

"Our room was fine and the service was good. I found the breakfast a little more bare bones compared with other Hampton Inn. For example, apples were the only fruit and the yogurt selection was limited. But we managed to find enough to eat. "
