"This house was a perfect rest station for my wifes marathon run, before and after. She ran in the "Honoring Our Heroes Marathon" from Salem to Rolla. The house was a quaint and quiet hideaway, not far from local bars and eatery's. "

"This location was a perfect place for a large family gathering. There was adequate space for a couple of families to stay overnight! Close to Harvey’s canoe/raft rentals! The host was very helpful!"

"Easy check-in. Clean home. Unloading is a bit of a walk from driveway to front porch. Huge fenced backyard for dogs was great. Possibly clear some brush along decline as the dogs loved to explore for rabbits! Onsite washer and dryer was great. Pots and pans in kitchen were nice ! Thank you!"

"It was nice to be able to pull right up to the entrance of the property and walk through the door with no stairs. For a one bedroom one bathroom apartment everything was very spacious and accommodating. We especially picked this because of the king size bed. We were not able to utilize some of the outdoor space, but I imagine it would be really nice to do so. We did however enjoy the wonderful gliders /on the front porch. "My siblings and parents plus youngest kids have stay at the River House for the past 6 years. It’s a great property and easy access to the river, a great fire pit with plenty of space for all of the family. We will be back!! "
