"We stayed a few days in Steeleville, MO, during our Rte 66 road trip thru MO. Our host was absolutely wonderful! We ended up arriving later in the evening, in the dark! She actually contacted us, providing directions and maintained contact with us until we arrived. She made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival... even a bottle of wine! With her vast knowledge of the area she was able to provide so many excellent suggestions for food, shopping and site seeing. We LOVED the quaint...

"The weather was bad the day we arrived but we where very happy with the way the cabin sat, privacy and just a really cute setup. The title i gave is because we had two beautiful bald eagle flying around just off of the back deck on our second day. If you know the song salsbury hill maybe you will understand. We really just wanted to escape the everyday hustle and bustle and we did just that. The tv use could use better instructions. Everything else was great. Did not meet the owners, we just...

"Its not secluded!! the bar is right accross property, just turn around you'd see and hear it. The residents are in the same location, you will see people, horses, dogs. If you don't mind that is the spot. There's several horse stalls that house horses for events and what not. Smells of poops all day. We were out all day long so it didn't matter. Its fun if you are not there to be alone!!"

"We had 3 cozy generations stay at Ron’s beautiful cabin for the weekend. We enjoyed the space and surroundings. The layout is wonderful for multiple people and there is room to explore the property for short hikes. We grilled, cooked, and roasted marshmallows over the fire! We also got to check out Ally Springs, which was amazing. Definitely recommend! "

"Our stay was fantastic! We were looking for secluded and this was perfect! 20 minutes from the nearest town. Cabin was fully stocked and then some. Owners were very responsive to any needs and left great directions, yet GPS still worked just fine for us. We most definitely plan on going back!"

"It was a cuite cabin. My Grandson is 6' 3" tall and it was a little small for him. It would have been nice to have some sheets for the futon. The BBQ pit was nice and a great deck.we enjoyed our stay."
