"This hotel was absolutely charming. The lobby/sitting area was like an old fashioned living room and a nice area to relax in. We were pleasantly surprised to find out we had been upgraded to a Junior Suite and having the extra room and sitting area was lovely. The staff was so kind and helpful in answering questions and sharing directions. This property is a little further away from the main area of town with all of the restaurants etc so after sightseeing all day, we ended up basing our eating options on what was closer. We loved Aix En Provence and if we are ever fortunate to visit the area again, we would definitely stay here. "

"The hotel was undergoing renovations, which took a little bit of the comfort away. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was good, the only downside was the lack of air conditioning. We had to keep the windows open all night and the streets were loud…"

"We really enjoyed our stay in Aix @ des Augustins. The location was excellent - right off Cours Mirabeau and a wonderful little square with restaurants and pubs. A little rocky start as the room with terrace I booked (via description and pictures) did not exist. I’m not sure if this was an error on Expedia or hotel description of rooms; but, I was disappointed upon arrival. We were given the deluxe room that I booked, but no terrace, just windows. I was offered the comfort room with a terrace the next morning, but the room and bath were extremely tiny and there is no elevator to the third floor. We stayed in the larger room, which was a wonderful size (with sofa and twin bed) (also the bath). With the rain, we weren’t likely to use the terrace anyway. The bath has a huge jetted tub with handheld shower and no glass, so not easy to shower. Some noise from rooms above. Carpet in room a little worn, but everything seemed clean. Bonus: the room had both a coffee pod machine and kettle for tea - website had said these only bailable in common areas, so a big plus! Beautiful common areas and very receptive and helpful staff. Would definitely recommend this hotel in Aix! "

"Perfect location for visiting Aix. Great to be able to park at the hotel, then walk everywhere. Rooms quiet & comfortable. Very good breakfast. Cheerful and helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again."
