"un endroit superbe, calme et vraiment au contact de la nature. rencontre avec des gens vrais, le cœur sur la main. la maison est très sympa, et on a de la place pour bouger! Un peu froid? hop petite flambée dans le poêle de la cuisine, ou dans la grande cheminée du salon . On m'as dit: salle de bain étroite..(psst, allez dans un mobil home, vous verrez!) "Property exterior was quite run down-also had dilapidated farm building attached. The interior does not match the exterior at all. We only found out a week before we travelled that there was a hire charge of 20 euro per room for bedding for stays of 7 days or less, had to pay 60 euro more on arrival for our 7 night stay . This is omitted from property details, I think this charge is outrageous. On positive note- the defective oven was replaced in 2 days and Pierre`s wine is excellent."

"The three bedrooms and large living area were just what we needed for a couple of nights. A well equipped kitchen was useful even though we only prepared simple snacks. The area is very peaceful although surrounded by other properties - you would think you were in a remote country cottage. Christophe (the host) was very welcoming and helpful. Check-in and check-out was very simple and straight forward. The listing information needs to be updated but it did not cause any problems with our visit....

"We liked everything about the property... it was clean and comfortable and contained everything we needed. Location was good too. Really appreciated the blackout blinds. Slight downside was that the neighbour began a major renovation project outside, with large and heavy machinery every day, but this is obviously out of the control of the host. We loved our stay and will return!"

"Had a lovely time in Roquebrun. Andre is a great host, very friendly, easily contactable, quick to respond, fantastic local knowledge and excellent English (thanks). The pool was cleaned often and there is lots of space. Roquebrun is lovely and the villa location is great - under 10 minutes walk to the restaurants a small supermarket and a bakery. Kayaking, wine tasting and river/beach nearby Very well equipped kitchen with lots of crockery, glasses, pans and 2 large fridges. We were there...

"First off, the woman who opened up the villa was extremely rude and only showed my daughter in law around the villa, insisting everyone else should wait outside. Afer 15 minutes, I'd had enough and went in telling this lady we were coming in. Added to this, the smoke alarms throughout the villa did not work, and as there was no way of securing the separate apartments, we had to close the metal shutters at night. With no smoke alarms, this is unbelievably dangerous. The facilities were adequate...

"This was a very disappointing stay. The host did not meet us as Planned. She sent a man to let us in And gave us the keys, but Did not speak any English. We were Left without explanation of how things worked in the apartment… I was shocked to find that there were no sheets or towels in the apartment. Fortunately, we had a friend who lived Near so we were able to borrow some from her. We were so uncomfortable. We had to leave a day early."
