"Gilles was an excellent host, and the house and yard are fantastic. We really enjoyed Rustrel and the surrounding area. In addition to the great bakery in town, we liked Au Pierrot Blanc in Apt (lavender ice cream) and horseback riding at the Horse Farm De Joucas (beautiful trail rides through vineyards, lavender fields). There are so many great things to do nearby that it's hard to choose, though! We enjoyed all of the helpful recommendations from Gilles."

"We arrived at the location and found it in good condition with friendly hosts who were helpful and generous with there time as well allowing us to enjoy are holiday. The pool was fantastic and private and the placement of the property gives you fantastic access to the towns of Apt, Lourmarin and Bonnieux. We enjoyed some great food in the restaurants in all of these as well as travellling to Aix Provence for a little shopping. The facilities on site allowed us to have BBQs and cooking dinners...

"This house was perfect for friends to spend a weekend in the countryside, and the owner and Aunt that lives next door were so helpful and responsive. The pool was beautiful and home was clean, lots of dishes and cooking materials for hosting. It was difficult to find the home, so better directions would be appreciated for other guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to come back some day. Thank you JB for your hospitality!"

"We were 8 adult family members and a small child, and to a person we absolutely loved our 14 nights in June stay in this home. The house and property were outstanding - beyond our expectations - and all of the people with whom we dealt, being our hosts, Michele and Olivier (who we did not meet in person), the housekeeper Farida, and the property maintainer, Olivier, were lovely. Le terrain mérite une petite réfection mais est largement suffisant pour un simple niveau de tennis ! La maison est excentrée de Bonnieux, et n'est pas recommandée pour les enfants en bas âge et les personnes à mobilité difficile (ce qui n'était pas notre cas !) Le jardin, les terrasses et la piscine sont ombragées, permettant ainsi de profiter au maximum des espaces...

"We had such a lovely peaceful 2 week stay. We thoroughly enjoyed the house, the grounds and the pool. The views across the Luberon are magnificent. Caroline, the host, and Alicia, who checked us in, were both very responsive to our questions. The nearest town is a short 5 minute drive (or 40 minute evening walk). It's also a great base for exploring the surrounding towns and villages and the stunning countryside.. Thank you"

"This would be great for a get away from it all break. But it was too remote for us, so we ended up going to Cannes for 3 days! House was nice, couple of gripes Bedroom door did not close which was awkward as we stayed with friends. Lots of wasps so stung a few times but it’s the edge of a forest.
