"Loved the warm welcome and generous basket from Barry when we arrived. Great accommodation. Amazing pool and gardens. Barry always there to help with any issues and even brought us extra logs for the fire on a cold evening. Great bike path along old raikway track into town (we walked it). Great galette place in town for food. Market on Friday morning. Ideal for easy drive to Fougeres, Mont Saint Michelle, Cancale. Really relaxing, lovely stay. Would recommend."

"Fabulous overnight stay. Fabrice was lovely and very helpful. House of Poppies was great. Clean and equipped with everything we needed. A nice bottle of red wine watching the sunset from the terrace was the perfect antidote to a long drive. Gardens were lovely for our dog to explore. Fab homemade breakfast. Thanks for a great stay! "We stayed at this property for our annual family holiday. There were 14 of us aged 4 to 74. We wanted for nothing! The thoughful and kind hosts felt more like family than landlords, without ever invading our space. The location was great and we look forward to a return visit ."

"This rather isolated house was a bit hard to find at first, but it is very well situated with both privacy and sweeping views in mind. We were a bit far from the crowds celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Normandy invasion, but the drive up to the coast was only marred by the huge crowds and all of the dignitaries present for the occasion. "If you are looking for a large multi-room multi-bed basecamp for a visit of Normandy, this is it. You can visit many famous Normandy attractions, while away from the commotion of cities. "Very clean comfortable apartment in a wide open space opening out onto the pool. Great seating area on the balcony (Downstairs apartments had a good space outside their units). Apartment was well fitted out. A little far from the village but easy driving and parking. A good location to explore Mont St Michel."
