I would rate this location as OK for a transit, I would however not recommend staying here for a longer holiday because it is very noisy especially when there were other guests in the same building. The grandchildren were looking forward to learning and watching milking etc but there was no opportunity to do this. "Booked at last minute for a short break with a friend. House had everything we needed for our stay. Owner lives in part of house next door but he keeps himself to himself and left us to it so it isn't an issue. Great location to discover places in the area. Only downside is nothing in walking distance for the evenings so you have to rely on a car but otherwise great."
