The room was comfortable and we enjoyed a generous breakfast of eggs, breads, jams, cheeses, meats, yogurt, and fruits while chatting with other jovial guests, our delightful hostess Isabelle, and the two sweet kitties of the house. This was a wonderful location to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The location was perfect for us. "The property is absolutely perfect and was exactly as described. The only hitch was that when we arrived, the driveway gate was locked and when we rang the bell it was some time before it was opened. It turned out neither of the hosts was there, but the husband host’s niece was. She was very nice but it wasn’t clear she was expecting us. We had been told to expect the husband. She spoke serviceable English (but no French) and showed us our room. From that that moment on the stay was...

"It was lovely, beautiful, friendly, quiet, and comfortable here. Guests are in rooms upstairs in a couple's new home. The house is part of a new development with large back yards. There is even a rooster next door. The couple presents a very nice continental breakfast of fresh, delicious breads and crescents, home made jam and hot tea or coffee or chocolate. The couple is very warm and welcoming. We couldn't have had a better time. Oh, they gave us a booklet of local sites and restaurants...
