"Our five night stay in this beautiful chateau was a delight. It is set in lovely countryside and is very quiet and peaceful. It is an excellent base for exploring northern Normandy. We drove to Mont St.Michel, Bayeux etc from here. You really do need a vehicle to get around. A few restaurants are 10 mins or so away in the local village. "El lugar tranquilo y cercano a las playas de Normandía, pero al llegar llamo al telefono de contacto y solo en Frances, nada de ingles, nos instalamos y al cabo de una hora, nos mandan mensaje ya en inglés, diciendo que no tenemos reserva, que no podemos volver a entrar. "Quiet area. Easy access to St Lô. Old building. Polystyrene ceiling tiles in bedroom.Fire hazard? Very comfy bed. Very steep, dangerous stairs to room. Owner very nice but did ask for payment again even though we pre-paid. Basic continental breakfast but only 3 euros each.Overall, for a one night stopover after a 9 hour drive,it did the job."

"The owner, Chantal and her husband where very accommodating. Although she had no record of our booking there was no issue and she gave us a really nice room with en suite. La Feuillie is a lovely area in the bocage, about 6km from Periers. Breakfast was very nice too, each day we had baguette , brioche, home made cake and 6-7 various jams, all home made. We were made very welcome and I would return."
