This was a beautiful old hotel, the staff tried very hard to accommodate and overcome any language barriers. The bar was small and cute and the heated pool and spa looked beautiful. Our room had no lifts only a narrow set of old stairs, that was a struggle with our luggage. The room itself was very noisy at night we both woke up on several occasions due to the sounds of the old building. But this felt like you were staying in a place of history so it was interesting and fun. It was clean, had a comfortable bed, modern amenities and parking.

Lovely hotel right in the centre of Bayeux with everything easily within walking distance. The room was lovely and warm and the bed was very comfortable. The hot tub and swimming pool were a nice touch after a day of walking in Bayeux and on the Normandy beaches. Highly recommend.

The location of this hotel is perfect. The people are fabulous and friendly. We did not use any of the spa services so we can't speak to that, but the location is ideal and walkable to everything. Easy trips from here to the Normandy beaches / area. We would stay here again time and again when visiting Bayeux...this was about as close to perfect as one can hope.

We were warmly welcomed in the evening the gentleman on reception recommended a local French restaurant which served traditional food. He booked a table on our behalf. Throughout our staff were helpful and courteous. I would highly recommend this hotel. Perfect for exploring Bayeux. All shops and restaurants in walking distance. A beautiful cathedral that reflected the advent season with it arrangement of purple lights on the walls and a nativity scene pointing the way to birth of Jesus. A lovely town to visit particularly at the pre Christmas time. All shops beautifully decorated in true traditional French style

The staff was friendly and very helpful. One challenge was that some rooms were not accessible by elevator. Once the elevator reached a floor, the rooms were up another half flight of steps. It was challenging for me who is a senior adult to get a suitcase up that half flight. I had to take it slow but managed okay. The onsight parking spaces were very tight and some were difficult to get into. Everything else was great! Hotel breakfast had a nice assortment of meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, yogurts and cereals....all the normal offerings of many hotel breakfasts.

Great hotel. Would have stayed a second night if available. Pool and hot tub were a nice touch. Free on street parking available right outside the courtyard. If you can’t find a space paid on-site parking is available as well. Close to cathedral and restaurants.

Pleasant Stay in Bayeux
We stayed here 4 nights as a base to explore Normandy. Pleasant visit, hotel is well located and within walking distance of main attractions of Bayeux and restaurants. Our room was a bit spartan but comfortable. Time of year did not show us to use pool which looked nice

Location is great, walkable to everything in town, it's on a side street which made it quiet to come back to at night. The only downside for us was that our bedding/room smelled sour. I don't know if it was because it was an older hotel, the room lacked ventilation or the sheets stayed wet to long.
