"The cabin is situated in the grounds of the manor house that once belonged to the author Laurence Durell. The hostess is amazing and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Walk out of the secure grounds and you are in the old town of Sommieres, with its numerous restaurants and bars . This place could not score higher if you want a base to explore the area."

Het huis is koel, eventueel kan de airco ook aan. Dat was niet altijd nodig ofschoon we er midden in de hete weken waren. De badkamer is zeer comfortabel, een heerlijke doche! "We had a fantastic stay here - the quality of the apartment is very high and the air conditioning was much appreciated. Danielle was a lovely hostess and we managed to communicate well despite our limited French. The location is a beautiful and tranquil one outside the village and close to the lagoons. Lovely beaches, scenery and wildlife. We can't wait to return."

An unexpected extra is a large wilderness park right beside the property which has an extensive set of walking trails. There is also a wonderful outdoor oven. The pool is very well kept. The owners live directly adjacent and offer a very warm welcome. Perfect for a family gathering."
