"Hotel was comfortable with a very good bed was clean and staff were courteous and friendly. For the money excellent value. The evening meal was not so great but locally it was pretty and while not a lot was going on as it seemed devoid of people and places to drink or dine perhaps a little further afield was required not just walking distance. Would stay again"

"My stay at La Saudade was a very pleasant experience. The hosts are kind and interesting people, you are steps from the very charming town of St. Peray (which has infinitely more going for it than the other ‘wine towns’ in the area). Enjoyed a lovely dinner at La Ruche, and was told that the nearby Auberge is also a fun family destination. La Saudade is the embodiment of a lovely chambre d’hotes - clean, unpretentious, interesting old home, and is also personal and memorable! Recommend!"

"This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."

"We came from the east cost of America to visit the Rhône valley wine area. The cottage was perfect stay for our trip. The road in and out of town is quite rural and driving should done with caution. "
