The weather was hot outside, but the cottage inside was nice and cool thanks to the thick walls. The pool was lovely and the children had a lot of fun with the floating devices. The owner of the house emailed a lot of tips on things to do in the neighbourhood and we had a lot of fun exploring those. "A beautiful house and garden with a lovely pool, on the banks of the Dordogne, ideal for families or group of friends. Stunning master bedroom and ensuite (you’ll fight for it), plus 2 other decent bedrooms with ensuites and a kids bedroom. Lovely living areas. Functional kitchen. "The accommodation is impeccable. Great pool, really well finished with decking all round, and a bar with a couple of pumps: one with cold, filtered water and one serving fresh beer (optional). Set in a quiet cul de sac, entry is through automatic security gates, with ample parking behind the property.
