"My Husband and 2 year old daughter stayed here for a week during opening weekend of the Christmas markets and loved our stay. I can’t think of a better location to have stayed for the week. We were able to walk in any direction and be at the center of all the action. They were even able to accommodate us a few extra days when our flight was canceled! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful hospitality."

"The house was a perfect blend of historic charm and modern luxury - cozy bedding, fully renovated kitchen and bathrooms, everything you need to feel at home. Easy walking distance to Old Quebec, Chateau Frontenac, and the Grand Alee. Great stay!"

"We rented this lively home as a place for family to gather to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. Such a cozy retreat! The teens had a blast hanging out in the basement, and the adults were able to chat more quietly upstairs. Room for everyone, surrounded by trees, walking distance to the St-Laurence, and a quick drive to old Quebec. Very responsive and kind hosts. Highly recommend."

"When you rent a place to stay you are never sure what you’ll get. With this visit we hit a home run. The house for perfect for a large family. The owners clearly wanted us to have an enjoyable stay as everything was clean and ready for us. The house was exactly as presented in the pictures, I highly recommend this home. The biggest problem I have with the house is the heated floors, now my wife wants them in our house. "

"Sitting slightly back from the road but also only a few moments walk to the shoreline, this property has both privacy and easy access to the spectacular views Ile D'Orleans provides of Quebec city and the St Lawrence. "We had a great stay here in Quebec City. The old town is a 10-15 min walk from the house with lots to do and see. The house was very neat and fun to stay in such a historic property. Hosts were welcoming and helpful. All in all we would recommend."

"The hotel we had booked had an unexpected strike so we had to make other plans. The boat was perfect! Parking was easy, safe and free and only a short walk to boat. There are rolling bins that can transport supplies to boat if needed. We didn’t need, but it was a nice touch. Boat was very comfortable with amazing views of Old Town. Old Town is a short walk away. "We absolutely enjoyed staying in the home. The home was very clean and contained all of the amenities needed during our stay. The view of the St. Lawrence was so relaxing and beautiful. The location is perfect for sightseeing, wine tasting or dining on the island or to nearby Quebec City. Communication with the owner was very simple. I definitely recommend the home for rental and will consider it again on future travel to the area."

"We came to enjoy Quebec City at St. John the Baptist Day. It's a good hike uphill to the Old City. There are a lot of good restaurants nearby on Rue St. Joseph. The prooerty doesn't include parking, but it is at a good location for driving out to see other sites, like Montmorency Falls. Dave is the friendliest host we've had on VRBO."
