"The villa was very clean, very well equipped and perfect for our stay.....the pool was a great size for our group of four. The only negative was that we experienced very low water pressure during our stay which impacted the bathrooms and made showering sometimes a little challenging. The Commune of Durban is a lovely village and had a useful local Supermarket with Bakery and a really nice Bar / Restaurant ( Chez Prano). We had to travel a little distance in the evening to visit other restaurants...

"The property is in a good position about 10 minutes walk from the beach. It has a beautifully equipped kitchen and nice outdoor sitting area. We feel the property description is misleading in some areas, and hope the following will clarify things: 1. It sleeps 8 (at a push) but only seats 4. There is soft seating indoors for 4 people only. 2. The property claims to be air conditioned. In truth there is a mobile air conditioning unit in the lounge, and that is it. "We enjoyed our visit to Narbonne and the area. The gite was clean and tidy, but there was mis-communication between the owner and ourselves regarding a few items. Although VRBO state that the owner speaks English, this was not really the case. VRBO also stated in the literature that towels and bedding were included. They were not, and we had to pay extra. Even then, the towels were still not provided on our arrival. There were no tea towels, or oven gloves either. We thought that the equipment...

"Lovely little fisherman’s hut in great location. Cafe on site great for food like pizzas and chips. Pool is amazing and slides are awesome. Kids loved them and wanted to stay longer. We hired bikes and scooters and toured a bit more locally and tried a local restaurant. Very nice. Promenade good too for a walk. Beach about 1km walk over the other side of the island. We would love to stay again next time we are passing through on our European travels. Roland is a great host and understood us...

"We loved the ambience of Gd St Nazaire and the large comfortable spaces it offers for sharing with friends. Plenty of good bathrooms tho the stairs to the 2 en suites on the top floor were very steep.Enjoyed the pool and boules pitch when we could (weather a bit iffy). Could have done with a decent-size stove top and oven-proof casserole and a few more decent size wine glasses as we enjoy cooking and exploring wines, but managed fine. Good fridge and was very glad of the ice-making facility....

"Very comfortable house with everything as described. Had problems with WiFi but sorted out by the wonderful Anita! Plenty of room for the us and very handy for the beach and town centre. Must see attractions are Narbonne cathedral, Gruissan and Angeleres sur mer. Highly recommended."

"We had a lovely time in the area with easy 30 mins to the beach or the mountains. The help and information from the hosts was excellent and the provision of the bikes was great. House was in a central location to the village with many amenities, restaurants and Boulangerie close by. Narrow streets could mean larger cars could find it more difficult. Lovely market on a Wed evening. Lack of air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom made sleeping more difficult in the south of France heat. "

"Tres satisfaite de cette location tout confort. La climatisation est tres appreciable par grosse chaleur. Tres bon accueil par la dame qui gere le ménage. Maison spacieuse tres bien equipee et proche des commerces restaurants et de la plage. Emplacement voiture juste devant la maison et coin repas exterieur assez grand. Seuls bemols pas de wifi et pas beaucoup de chaines de tv dispo. Le barbecue n'a pas ete utilise car pas tres accessible et les grilles etaient tres sales. Hormis cela tres bien....

"It was very difficult and confusing to figure out how to get into the building. Although I had already paid through Expedia, I had to pay again. And there is a computer monitor that asks your name and reseveration number. The hotel's reseveration number and Expedia's reservation number are different and I was using Expedia's reservation number. At the end of a long day, you don't want to waste 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get in. "

"Château le Bouïs is a truly spectacular gem of a winery and property outside of Narbonne in the Occitania region of southern France. Nestled into the foothills overlooking the valley and sea the service, restaurant and experience was amazing! Wine tasting every day from 5:30-7:30 to take in the delicious vintages they produce. Restaurant is gorgeous over looking the vineyard with an excellent range of cuisines. We stayed in the La Suite D'Hortense with a rooftop terrace overlooking the area...stay but be prepared as this is an old building and no elevator on the 2nd floor you will be rewarded with incredible views. Suite has a second bedroom and bathroom great for a family... just duck when you enter... :) Sunsets and sunrises were spectacular... Staff were courteous at each interaction but be prepared as most know very little English ... don't miss out on this rewarding experience. "
