"Das Haus ist klein, hat aber alles, was man braucht außer WLAN, das sollte ergänzt werden. Der Hof ist sehr schön zum erholen. Das Meer haben wir mit dem Auto in 12-14 min. erreicht, der Strand war toll und nicht überlaufen. Fernseher nur auf französisch, aber nicht so wichtig. Die Verwalterin wohnt nebenan und ist immer ansprechbar. Kann man weiter empfehlen, es war ein schöner Urlaub."

"Lovely little fisherman’s hut in great location. Cafe on site great for food like pizzas and chips. Pool is amazing and slides are awesome. Kids loved them and wanted to stay longer. We hired bikes and scooters and toured a bit more locally and tried a local restaurant. Very nice. Promenade good too for a walk. Beach about 1km walk over the other side of the island. We would love to stay again next time we are passing through on our European travels. Roland is a great host and understood us...

"We stayed for a month and really enjoyed the place. The house is a traditional French family home in a convenient village location. The house is well maintained and very well organised. Everything works. There is no airconditioning but the window shutters are mostly effective in keeping the house reasonably cool and well ventilated. (The exception was for a few days when we experienced a heatwave … with temperatures outside if 38-40C its probably not surprising that it was pretty uncomfortable...

"The property is in a good position about 10 minutes walk from the beach. It has a beautifully equipped kitchen and nice outdoor sitting area. We feel the property description is misleading in some areas, and hope the following will clarify things: 1. It sleeps 8 (at a push) but only seats 4. "Die Unterkunft war mit der Beschreibung in der Anzeige nur schwer zu finden. Die Lage der Ferienwohnung ist wunderbar fußläufig zum Meer und sauber. Der Kontakt mit den Vermietern und Frau Milan war sehr freundlich. Die Lampen am Bett zum abendlichen Lesen sind punktgenau super. "We enjoyed our visit to Narbonne and the area. The gite was clean and tidy, but there was mis-communication between the owner and ourselves regarding a few items. Although VRBO state that the owner speaks English, this was not really the case. VRBO also stated in the literature that towels and bedding were included. They were not, and we had to pay extra. Even then, the towels were still not provided on our arrival. There were no tea towels, or oven gloves either. We thought that the equipment...

"Very comfortable house with everything as described. Had problems with WiFi but sorted out by the wonderful Anita! Plenty of room for the us and very handy for the beach and town centre. Must see attractions are Narbonne cathedral, Gruissan and Angeleres sur mer. Highly recommended."

"Wir waren zu zweit mit Hund vor Ort und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es war sehr sauber und es ist alles vorhanden, was man zum Wohlfühlen vor Ort braucht. Wohnung liegt super zentral zum Strand, Einkaufsmöglichkeiten vom Markt 2x/Woche bis Intermarche, Aldi und Lidl in direkter Nähe. Zu Fuß erreichbar ist freies Gelände zum Laufen mit dem Hund. Klare Empfehlung - super nette Vermieter. Gerne wieder"

"We had a lovely time in the area with easy 30 mins to the beach or the mountains. The help and information from the hosts was excellent and the provision of the bikes was great. House was in a central location to the village with many amenities, restaurants and Boulangerie close by. Narrow streets could mean larger cars could find it more difficult. Lovely market on a Wed evening. Lack of air conditioning in the 2nd bedroom made sleeping more difficult in the south of France heat. "

"It was very difficult and confusing to figure out how to get into the building. Although I had already paid through Expedia, I had to pay again. And there is a computer monitor that asks your name and reseveration number. The hotel's reseveration number and Expedia's reservation number are different and I was using Expedia's reservation number. At the end of a long day, you don't want to waste 30 minutes trying to figure out how to get in. "

"Château le Bouïs is a truly spectacular gem of a winery and property outside of Narbonne in the Occitania region of southern France. Nestled into the foothills overlooking the valley and sea the service, restaurant and experience was amazing! Wine tasting every day from 5:30-7:30 to take in the delicious vintages they produce. Restaurant is gorgeous over looking the vineyard with an excellent range of cuisines. We stayed in the La Suite D'Hortense with a rooftop terrace overlooking the area...stay but be prepared as this is an old building and no elevator on the 2nd floor you will be rewarded with incredible views. Suite has a second bedroom and bathroom great for a family... just duck when you enter... :) Sunsets and sunrises were spectacular... Staff were courteous at each interaction but be prepared as most know very little English ... don't miss out on this rewarding experience. "
