Hotel Convento Santa Catalina
5/5 Excellent
"First our room was a great value! Big room, nice bathroom and had a large ceiling and floor fan. Everything was super clean, the atrium and foyer areas were immaculate Gardens!!! There was always a staff member to help you with the door, and when they weren’t helping you with luggage or opening the door, they were cleaning the floors in the windows and picking up and straightening in the garden. A young man slept on the couch beside the gate door to the outside street Making us feel very safe. Literally a 50 yard walk put you in the middle of Antigua‘s busiest tourism spot, however, the room was perfectly quiet. Of all our stays in Antiqua this was our favorite hotel. It was a great value. It was a great location. And had all the qualities you want in a hotel. The only downside, was they didn’t offer air conditioning, however, because of the shade and the style of the room and the large windows a ceiling fan and floor fan was all anyone would ever need. "
