Hotel Posada de Don Rodrigo en Antigua Guatemala has been one of the best hotels my family and I have stayed at. Service was amazing, the rooms were unique, the property offers lots of greenery and views to the water volcano from many angles at the property. This boutique hotel is located on the same street as "El Arco" is located. The restaurant on the first floor offers delicious food that is sometimes accompany by live Marimba. My family and I can't wait to go back.

I loved the network of interconnected gardens , the view of the volcano from my bedroom window, and proximity to the Arco de Santa Catalina. The staff were also very nice and helpful.

This is a great hotel. It's beautiful and the staff is super friendly. I would only recommend that you request an inside room. If you get a room on the outer part (meaning the windows access the outside of the hotel), then be ready to hear all the noise happening in the area. The people walking by and talking and cars going by. But aside from that, I would recommend this hotel.

I had some issues upon my initial arrival that were primarily self inflicted. The whole hotel staff went above and beyond to correct all of the situations. I would highly recommend staying here. The surrounding area here is beautiful and I would also highly recommend that you take a Viator chicken bus tour if you have the opportunity.
